The Google Chrome Extension for bundleIQ was previously a button that allows the user to analyze text on any given web page. The new button needed to change completely in functionality and designed in Figma as a high-fidelity prototype.

The new button must allow the user to record quick notes while on a web page, save the web page to their bundleIQ app, summarize any text on a web page, and ask bundleIQ's AI technology, Alani, questions about the web page. The button had to be well organized, easy to use, clear in functionality, and on brand.
I used bundleIQ's existing brand identity aesthetics, such as colors, fonts, icons, and drop shadows, to highlight the different functionalities of the chrome button. This also helped the user mentally connect the button with their web app due to brand similarities and familiarity. I used hover effects and color continuity for nav buttons and headers to assist in easy navigation. I laid out the Figma frames in linear paths that the user would take in order to help developers and team leaders view the designs easily and in unison with the user's experience.
I created an Error Message page in case the chrome extension was ever malfunctioning or down. I used Adobe Illustrator to create a graphic that resembles the CEO of the company holding "BQ" binoculars. The design plays on bundleIQ's slogan "reduce time to insight," by hinting that we lost sight of their insights, but will keep looking.
